Prof Sakthi's Visit - July 2014

Assalamualaikum and Good Day to all,

 

With regard to the above, kindly be informed that the Faculty’s Visiting Professor, Prof Dr Sakthi Mahenthiran will be visiting us from 7 August to 22 August 2014. Attached herewith is Prof Dr Sakthi’s schedule and all of you are welcomed to see him over the period of his visit. You may make your appointment with him by writing your name on the schedule sheet placed outside his room (please note that he will be occupying PM Dr Azmi’s room at Level 12). Over his coming visit, Prof Dr Sakthi will be giving three (3) talks as below:

1) Talk 1: Corporate Governance Issues [Tuesday, 12 August 2014 (9.00 am - 12.00 noon)] Venue: Sumber Ikhlas

2) Talk 2: Management Accounting Issues [Wednesday, 13 August 2014 (9.00 am -12.00 noon)] Venue: Sumber Ikhlas

3) Talk 3: Developing a Theoretical Framework-Exploring the Issues [Tuesday, 19 August 2014 (10.00 am -12.00 noon)] Venue: ILQAM

The talks are open for everyone to attend. For Part 1 - Part 4 research students (PhD and Master by Research), kindly be informed that attendance for the above talks is COMPULSORY. I would also like to urge everyone to take the opportunity to meet Prof Dr Sakthi personally, either for academic discourse or extra help. His research interests include management accounting, fraudulent financial reporting, behavioral decision-making and global corporate governance. Also, please let me know if you are interested in appointing him as your third supervisor (external).
