THE CONFERENCE
The 2012 International Islamic Accounting & Finance Conference (IIAFC 2012) will be held in Malaysia between 20 -21 November 2012. The conference aims to invite international delegates to Kuala Lumpur to have intellectual discourse on global issues relating to Islamic accounting and finance, besides getting to know the beautiful sights of Malaysia.
IIAFC 2012 is organized by Accounting Research Institute (ARI), together with its co-organizes, the Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia; Indonesian Islamic University (IIU), Jogjakarta, Indonesia; Centre of Islamic Banking & Finance, Royal Docks Business School, University of East London, United Kingdom; and Elshaarani Centre for Islamic Business and Finance, Aston University, Birmingham, United Kingdom.
The conference will act as a platform in giving opportunities for participants to network and share experiences in a unique inter-disciplinary environment among Islamic Accounting and Finance practitioners, academicians and other professionals who interested in this area. This event will also invite paper presenters to publish their work in the selected journals.
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Conference invites papers from the conceptual in nature through advanced level of research findings on all topics related to Islamic Accounting and Finance. Papers which address the theory, research and applications as well as describe innovative projects are encouraged. All papers submitted to this conference will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality, significance and quality of contribution.
