GRANTS FROM IPSIS

Assalamualaikum and Salam sejahtera,

It is our pleasure to inform you that IPSIS is offering grants for Postgraduate students who are attending conferences( Local and Overseas... and must be indexed).

The amount are as follows:

For master: You are eligible to apply a one off grant amounting to either RM 1,500 (Overseas) or RM1,000 (Local) during your study period.

For PhD: You are eligible to apply two  grants  amounting to either RM 1,500 (Overseas) or RM1,000 (Local), and the second grant must be local (RM1,000), during your study period.

Exception to the above grants: To those who are getting the My PhD scholarship, you are not entitled to the above grants.

But those who are getting  My Master scholarship, you are still eligible.

Procedures: 

1.Fill in the required forms b4 the conference.

2.Pay the conference fees

3.Get the payment receipt, and IPSIS will then reimburse your payment.

JADUAL PENILAIAN AKHIR PROGRAM SARJANA

Prof Dr Klaus's Visit Dec 2013

Assalamualaikum and Good Day to all,

With regard to the above, kindly be informed that the Faculty’s Visiting Professor, Prof Dr Klaus Tochtermann from Christian-Albrechts University Kiel, Germany will be visiting us from 10 December to 22 December 2013. Attached herewith is Prof Dr Klaus’s schedule and all of you are welcomed to see him over the period of his visit. You may make your appointment with him by writing your name on the schedule sheet placed outside his room (please note that he will be occupying PM Dr Azmi’s room at Level 12). Over his coming visit, Prof Dr Klaus will be giving two (2) talks as follows:

1) Talk 1: Open Access-New Forms of Scientific Publishing [(Thursday, 12 December 2013 (9.00-10.30 am)]

2) Talk 2: Facilitating Replication of Research Results in Economics [Friday, 13 December 2013 (9.00-10.30 am)]

Penangguhan kelas

Makluman penangguhan kuliah pada 7hb dis 2013 (sabtu)
Kuliah master part time pada hari tersebut ditangguhkan kerana tiada bekalan elektrik  di menara SAAS. Kuliah pada 8 dis 2013 (ahad) adalah seperti biasa.
