Intake March 2020. Submission of Research Ethics Application Form by Postgraduate Students of the Faculty of Accounting

Assalamualaikum wrt and greetings.

 

Attention to all postgraduate students (AC750 & AC950) of the Faculty of Accounting, UiTM, March 2020 intake.

 

2.      The Research Ethics Policy was approved on May 24, 2019 at the 16th University Board of Directors (LPU) Meeting.

3.      According to the Policy, all research by students and staff at the University of Technology MARA (UiTM) will need the approval of the UiTM Research Ethics Committee (including research using secondary data). Ethical approval of research is required before the data collection process or to be submitted together with your proposal for the Defence of Research Proposal (DRP).

4.      In accordance with the Research Ethics Policy above, please be informed that all postgraduate students (AC750 & AC950) that enrolled starting March 2020 are required to complete and submit the application for research ethics approval (forms no. 2 - 5) to the Accounting Faculty Research Ethics Committee through the RICAEN office:

·        No.2 - Research Form for Ethics Approval

·        No. 3 - Research Risk Classification Form

·        No. 4 - Subject Information Sheet Revised

·        No. 5 - Checklist for Applicant

For 2020, deadline for submission of the above documents to the Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Accounting through the office RICAEN is as below:

All students are advised to submit the necessary documents before the above date for assessment at the Faculty level. Failure to submit all required documents by the due date will result in the slow approval process.
